National Museum of Natural History

This museum has huge biological collection/museum specimens which is displayed in different galleries as well as spared in reserve collection of this museum. This reserve collection considered taxidermy specimens of Rhinoceros, Lions, Lioness, Tigers, white tiger, wild ass, leopard, black buck, sloth bear, striped hyena, golden Langur, slender Loris, The Indian Pangolin, Snow Leopard, Marbled Cat, Armadillo, Nilgiri Tahr, Red Panda and Mouse deer, spotted deer, Chinkara, cheetah, king cobra, Tibetan Yak, clouded leopard, Gangetic dolphin, crocodile, Gharials, musk deer, great Indian bustard, skeletons of different animals, head trophy,  tiger’s skull, hundred of the birds, egg shells, corals, arthropods, largest cup sponge, fossils of Nautilus, tree trunk, leaves, eggs of the dinosaur, femur bone of the dinosaur etc. These museum specimens are so precious and important for researchers, scholars, students and general people for study, education, research and entertainment also.
