Facilities

  • AUDITORIUM: Rajiv Gandhi Regional Museum of Natural History, Sawai Madhopur do screen movies on wildlife & nature twice in a day to the visitors in huge auditorium i.e. 300 seating capacity, fire proof, wash proof and Dolby digital sound. There are two green room also attached with the auditorium.
  • TACTILE TILES PATHWAYS: a tactile pathway is connected from entrance/ramp to all the galleries, exhibition, toilets, lift and office etc for differently abled visitors.
  • RAMPS: There are two Ramps (Front and back of the building) are dedicated to differently abled visitors as well as old ages people to connect directly with auditorium and museum main building.
  • LIFT FACILITY: Lift facility is available from basement parking to ground floor and first floor.
  • CONFERENCE ROOM: Huge conference room is available for presentation/meting etc.
  • ECO-THEATRE: Eco-theatre is also available for lectures/presentation to students.
  • OPEN THEATRE: Open theatre is also available to the participants of different educational activities which are organized by this museum round the year.
  • HOSTEL: Hostel facility is providing to the participants (Terms & condition apply) of different educational activities which are organized by this museum.
  • LIBRARY: Library has been equipped with precious books on Life science, Natural history, encyclopaedia, magazine, news letter and papers etc.
  • CLOAK ROOM: Cloak room is also available to the visitors’ valuables during visiting hours.
  • WHEEL CHAIRS, BLIND STICK AND BRAIL SIGNAGES: These facilities are also available to concerned visitors.
  • PARKING FACILITY: A huge parking in basement is available to the visitors equipped with CCTV and 3 other parking with shade are also available to the visitors in lush green campus of this museum.
  • INTERPRET: Facility of museum interpreter/guide is providing to the student group only on prior intimation.
  • TOILET FACILITY: Toilet facility is available to the visitor inside the museum building as well as outside the building i.e. museum campus. Facility special toilets for Divyang visitors are also available.
  • DRINKING WATER: Drinking filter water facility is available to the visitors.
  • CENTRALIZED AIR CONDITIONER: Entire museum building is equipped wit centralizes air conditioner.
